The Range Road Series of Paintings

This series of paintings were painted plein air (on location). There's something special about the immediacy of landscape when its right before your eyes. You are not dependent on a photographic image.
The shapes, colors, textures and forms are right there. You can even smell them. It means so much more. There are currently 17 paintings in this series.
