Yukon Peaks
New for 2011

These paintings are a response to the Yukon peaks that surrounded my view at Crag Lake. All along the three main highways 1, 2, and 8, the peaks held their own. Mountain wide open vistas of monochromatic tones gradually gave way to the warmth of spring. Colors subtley emerged in the darkest tones.

Currently ten of these paintings are show in the peaks series.
