The Dry Island Paintings
Dry Island Provincial Park in central Alberta provides the subject of this series of prairie scapes. The Red Deer River carves a winding canyon through the grasslands. Combinations of a multitude of earthen colours and varying light creates an endless source of inspiration to mark the canvas.
