Content for these paintings involves the landscape on the island of Haida Gwaii. In late May I journied almost 2000 Kilometers to attend a wedding of my cousin into the eagle clan. This west coast shangri la has an ancient magic about it. I was tranfixed by the local art but in the short time I was there painted every day on the interface between the coastal rain forest and the Pacific.
