Matchayan Wood

This series of paintings is about the fall season and the experience of change. Painted on location for the most part, I was not just content with the lake view autumn woodlot before me. I walked right into the bush, taking in the smells, the sounds, the experience. Paint came to the canvas as quick fresh interpretive impressions of an all too brief season.
