Prairie Landscape Series

The prairie covers the southern half of Alberta. My studio is on the western edge of St. Albert and faces a provincial wetland park named after Lois Hole a fantastic lady, environmentalist, humanitarian, and blessed with a tremendous energy. The closeness of the big skies and vast open spaces is the right before me. It is a constant driving force behind all of these paintings. The majority of these works are created "plein air" on location.
